God of Wonders......

Psalm 8:3-4, 9 “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”
Have you ever really sat down and considered the heavens? When I look at these verses and I really ponder the vastness of the God of the Universe, and the smallness of each of us, I am so humbled. I want to fall on my face before Him! How can we comprehend that the Most Majestic God is mindful of us? Why in the world would He be??? The word that comes to my mind is love. He loves us. Yes, He created the heavens, He set the moon and stars in place, but He LOVES us. I just shake my head in amazement. He can do anything He wants, yet He loves us. Indescribable! Significant insignificance, in my eyes. Significant importance in His eyes. Are you having a difficult week this week? Feeling insignificant? Then consider the astronomical grace of our Heavenly Father. You are the apple of His eye, He knows and calls you by name! Put your name in the following blanks: "I have loved you________________ with an everlasting love; I have drawn you _________________with loving-kindness. Therefore I tell you,____________ do not worry about your life…..Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you__________ not much more valuable than they?”
